Yep. Buying wholesale is dicey.
Asked them if the Hicks figures (that they had in stock at the time I sent the email) included the motion tracker.
Cory,
As of this moment, all stock on this figure is exhausted. We will restock this item, but as they will most likely be from the second wave of manufacturing, I would imagine that the motion tracker accessory will be omitted. I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.
Thank You,
Nick Pulaski

Now I'm just waiting on EB Games' reply. If it seems like they won't have the tracker, either, it looks like I'll have to take my chances at retail.
But if the figures are from the second manufacturing wave, shouldn't they have it? At least, from what we've been lead to believe from McFarlane?

what is this motion traker thing?
It's attached to a sling on Hicks' chest.
I'll just have to assume that the Tower employee simply has no idea what they're talking about.
The guy seems to have at least made an educated (sort of) guess, so I give him points for that, at least.

EB's reply was a help.
Hello Cory,
Thank you for contacting EBgames.com. Unfortunately, we have no real
way
of knowing whether it has it or not since we're in Las Vegas, NV and
our
warehouses are in Pennsylvania and Kentucky.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused you.
Sincerely,
Anthony
